The WLB Group was retained by Clark County, Nevada to provide construction management and contract administration for the Harmon Interchange project. The project included roadway improvements, bridges, UPRR grade separation, and related appurtenances along Valley View Boulevard from Tropicana Avenue to Flamingo Road and Harmon Avenue from Decatur Boulevard to Aldebaran Avenue. Construction included the removal of existing roadway improvements, traffic signals, street lights, water and sanitary sewer facilities. New improvements included, paving, landscaping , sidewalks, medians, concrete barrier rail, impact attenuator, steel girder bridge structures over the railroad, retaining walls, mechanically stabilized earth walls, screen walls, box culverts and storm drain. Street lighting, signage, pavement markings, traffic signal systems and modifications, fiber optic cable, water lines, sanitary sewer lines and manholes were also included along with other related items. The project provided improved access from the Las Vegas strip to the west over the railroad and to the new Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
