Working closely with the Sam Hughes Historic Society, The WLB Group paid careful attention to the details, materials and colors of this venerable university area facility.
Working through an “Open End” contract with the City, WLB selected play equipment and sheltering canopies with an eye to the colours of homes in the surrounding neighborhoods. Street furniture was selected for an appropriate historic design quality.
Work included new pathways, benches, drinking fountains and other street furniture. Coordination with City and Sam Hughes Neighborhood Association was critical and added to the character and quality of the final project.
